EVAC is especially honored this year with the selection of Life Member Richard Krane as one of the two Grand Marshals of the 2011 Englewood Memorial Day Parade!. Please join us in celebrating Dick's special recognition and many achievements by joining us as we march in the 2011 Memorial Day Parade, or at least stand on the sidelines and cheer him on!

2011 started out slow but is now building momentum. We have provided ambulance coverage on all our shifts, even during the inclement weather when we responded to many requests for assistance, most related to loss of power for our citizens.

In 2009 New Jersey approved the Move Over Law, which requires drivers who are approaching stationary emergency vehicles, tow trucks and other highway safety vehicles displaying red, blue and/or amber flashing lights must now move over one lane or, if not safe to move over, then slow down below the posted speed limit.
